Joshua Bowie, Sr., born on October 17, 1954, to Jessie Lee and Juanita Bowie, was raised with six siblings. At 18, he felt invincible, yet by 20, he faced personal challenges. After his honorable military discharge in 1974, he experienced a profound calling from God and joined New Day Deliverance Holiness Church. Embracing Jesus and the Holy Spirit in 1975, Bishop Bowie soon felt called to the ministry, founding the Church of Foundational Truth in Houston. Supported by his wife, Lady Mary A. Bowie, he leads daily broadcasts and remains dedicated to guiding others in faith.
